About Brenda Kaser

Brenda's introduction to acupuncture came in 1994 when her martial arts instructor introduced her to shiatsu, an Asian form of medical massage. Her instructor, SiFu Augustine Fong, was a master acupuncturist and herbalist, and it was under his mentorship that Brenda began studying Chinese medical theory. Seeing that what she had learned could help heal training injuries as well as stop a headache, Brenda's interest quickly became a quest to know all that she could about acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

In 1996 Brenda began her Master's program in acupuncture and oriental medicine. While in school, Brenda took particular interest in complex cases and pain syndromes. She found that with careful diagnosis and treatment, long standing conditions could be slowed or turned around, making great improvements in her patients' quality of life. In 2000 she graduated from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Continuing education is a vital part of Brenda's professional life. She has studied Cranio-Sacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute since 1999 and in May 2003 began a new path, studying NAET with Devi Nambudripad.
"As a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, I am consistently impressed with its grace as a medical model and it's effectiveness as a therapy. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs allow me to assist your body in its natural healing process, in a way that is both supportive of your strengths and respectful of your challenges."
